I'm Eric/a Seyden, a non-binary web application developer.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my home page. You can call me Eric or Erica, whatever feels right to you today. I live in Missoula, Montana, where I build cool things and hike to wild places.

I've loved computers for as long as I can remember. From the early days of wrangling floppy disks on an Apple II to the first dial up BBS boards on a 486, I was fascinated by computer systems and wanted to learn how they work.

With an endless appetite for technical manuals, my favorite hobby is going through all the books on the O'Reilly learning platform. Although I will always have a soft spot for my old bookshelf filled with the reference books, I long ago replaced the old printed books with my constant companion iPad.

Life is not all ones and zeros though. My father, being a retired Forest Service officer, instilled in me a great reverence for the outdoors. So, I try to spend a lot of time unplugged and out in the wilderness, hiking, camping, fishing, and meditating. Taking photos while I am out there really helps bring the outdoors to others by sharing on social media. Additionally, I absolutely love playing disc golf and hanging out with my wife at the tennis courts.
